A game to play
« on: March 27, 2005, 08:54:41 PM »
I need a new past time game.  I'm looking for a MMO game with a more realistic economic nature.

Does anyone know of anything like that?

Found Project Entropia (I think someone was showing me this before.  Was that you Zelos?)

Hopefully it satisfies my need to lead a small, unobtrusive life as a humble tradeer/craftsmen/gatherer.

Us high people need to lead humble virtual lives.

The tie bug has got me seriously frazzled.  I'm looking for something to help me relax between those long DB programming bouts.

Why MMO then?  Nothing is more relaxing than shooting some baddies in FPS...

I've been playing nothing but Unreal Torunament for the last month straight.  It's getting old.

Yeah, UT is nice.  Such a frag fest...  Although it is too fast and unpredictable for my taste.  Getting blown every half a  minute.  I prefer Team Fortress.

CosmicRift (do not play TotalWar Zone its testing 1... 2... 3.. still) CosmicRift

About TotalWar this kids are lost in there , they do nothing but collect power cores to buy specials...

If you going to download, watch out for Terminator ,hehehe

First-Person Shooter

UT is nothing like CS (at least the major modes of gameplay).   I've played CS a lot back when it was just appearing, from beta to beta 6.  Then it became so popular that was not much fun anymore.

ok shvartz , I thought you were talking about a specific game when you sayed FPS...

Scratch CosmicRift, they put the guest names back into chaos zone: It would of been ok, but this time they did not base it on the Ip, so I have no way of tracking players,

The News  :ph43r: In First Purson Games that dont need Internet , are:

The New Splinter sell got high rateings, have to find a good excuse so I will get it.
(although its for xbox, I can get it for ps2 , if you dont have a ps , then wait until it comes out for a PC, I am waiting for HALO2 to come out for pc   :) )

It is a sin to play FPS on anything else but PC.

Amen.

Those little analog sticks just give me a headache.

For those that care, I just earned 30 cents (American) worth of virtual stuff in Project Entropia after spending all day on it.

Good to finally see a game that rewards effort.

Found out how Project Entropia can be doing so well if it doesn't cost a monthly subsription.  Your items decay.  And fast.  Every swing of an axe costs about 6 PEC (which is like .6 cents).

Nothing like to good old days of Ultima Online where I made a mining character, mined some ore, went to my Blacksmithing character, made the ore into stuff, got massive skill increases and hand over fist of money.

Maybe I'll go play a nice game of solitare.  Or get back on that tie bug

I'm warning you, Nums, you'll get exactly what you pay for.

Play EVE instead.
