Hello!
« on: October 29, 2007, 01:29:24 AM »
Hi there everyone, I have been lurking around for a while and decided to say hello, and to ask for some help.

I got around to writing my first bot based off of Animal Minimalis tonight it was working fairly well then, I messed it up somehow, I think though a find/replace. So now it no longer ties to anything, I am sure it is something small but I cant find it.  Any help would be great.

Welcome!  I see a few instances of *robage.  It should be *.robage.  See if that fixes it.

Thank you!
They tie to things now, things being every bot in sight. This does make some cool virus spewing masses of bots that work fairly well, but its not quite what I wanted. Is there a different was to check friend/foe? Also, the virus seems to shoot a random gene out, not my virus why would this be?

Try *.thisgene and combine both the virus making and shooting parts using condition less logic.
Other forms of friend from foe:
    In and out
    Memloc and Memval
    RefVars
    Refeye and Myeye[/li]
See the wiki.
