symbiotic relationship

a peculiar evosim thing that happened I started out with algae minimalis and a short bot from the bestiary

after 200000 or so cycles I noticed something peculiar

it seemed that the algae minimalis would stop reproducing after there were 5 algae next to it, the short bot turned into a crab like creature in the fact that it moves sideways faster than it does forward, when the agae gets bumped into itself and its siblings spread, and while its moving it reproduces semi-cancerous until it stops moving,  this only happens if the agae is larger than a certain mass.

I presume you are talking evo symbiots, so no, I don't spend enough time evolving stuff, sry.

I guess the pattern you saw was due to the fact that you can't reproduce if something is in the way though. Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like the algae is always cancerous above a certain mass but rotates through only five points.

all vegs unless they have a body restriction gene are normally cancourus

No...  The default alga minimalis only reproduces if it has above 5K or 6K nrg.  It's its only gene.  So it isn't cancerous...  QED you're wrong.

That could be from a mutation in the gene.

yeah I suppose but its also because of the large amounts I give each veg a cycle
