Does this virus still work despite the new update that makes it quite difficult for plants to shoot viruses?

Yea, should work. Nothing is stopping plants from getting infected except for the slime.

I don't think it does. I put it in and it's not shooting the virus.

Botsareus:
Give me the virus I'll make a video to prove you wrong.

Either I copied it wrong or it's something with the program. I'll try and figure it out.
