is it possible to create a portable darwinbots (one that doesn't edit the registry so that I can run it off a flash drive)  I would do it but sence I have no programing skills out side of db and python I am unable to do so. so can someone please try I would greatly appreciate it.

Numsgil:
All the install does is to ensure that you have the Visual Basic runtime libraries installed.  It doesn't edit the registry beyond that.  Most computers should have that anyway.  Try just copying your DB install to a flash drive and running it like that on another computer.  It should work.

-venom-:
if I install it to my flash drive it will only work on that computer

Numsgil:
What sort of error message is it giving you when you try to run it?

Again, the only dependancy is the visual basic runtime libraries (I think they're called VBVM6.dll or something similar).  You could try to copy the VB runtime libraries to the flash drive too, but you're going to have issues if the computer you want to run it on isn't the same OS, or a host of other problems.

it gives me one that says it is missing some file but when I try it on the comp I installed it on it doesn't show the error
