Bots dissapear leaving only veg in match
« on: December 31, 2006, 08:12:40 AM »
Rerun of F1 league under VB, didn't give an error message.

Managed to get an error of sorts, I got fed up with 12 hour long rounds and used the win button, it didn't like that and after declaring one of the bots as winner the competitors disappeared and I am left with just veg.
Aadding bots and then clicking win button just caused added bots to dissapear. IIRC the round counter didn't change, it just kept the info from the last match won.
Veg continued to grow and weren't reset via the win button.

Have only met this bug once.

I did have both bots die off in a round once ...
which then resulted in the prog being in a loop that it
couldn't exit ... nor did I have any mouse control or
way to end it, as I was using the compiled version ...
so not able to halt it as I might have been able to
do in VB. so no debug data or error.sim.
this was version 2.42.9r in F1 League play ...
and I wasn't using the InstaWin button.

Had this problem twice in DB 9.s now, both times Spanish C v Animal S, both had wins over 100, using F1 rerun, once compiled once not.

Strangest thing noticed about it was that if I tried to close Contest remarks using X then I get 5 win buttons down the side.
The veg are still on screen, they are over 26mil cycles old...

Did not use the win button either time.
