Tired of waiting for that bloody F1 fight to finish when you already know who won?
Wishing there was a way to know how much longer you have to wait?
There is a way, the new Formula one DB Calculator
(You need Microsoft excel to use it)

Just click Enable Macros, plug in the number of wins of (the robot you believe is losing) has, and see how much more wins the robot you believe is winning needs before the contest is over.

Then plug in the number of seconds an average round takes, and it will give you the time to the end of the match.

(Will be nice if PY takes the code out of the file and puts it into the F1 mode itself, like a timer thing)

Then again though......

if you are REALLYsure that one robot is going to win......

There is an "instant win" button in the F1 display form........

Just press the button and the robot gets the round automatically.

How long to wait?

No time at all  :D

Seriously though it isn't a bad idea.

PY you going agenst your own F1 formula if you want to end contests early, ex:

lets say wining robots ratio is 35 to 20
But the first round the losing robot won so for the first round its 0 to 1
Py is saying that now we can end that contest and declare the loser bot is the winner. I say thats not a fear game at all.

But anyway, quote: "Seriously though it isn't a bad idea." , thx PY

PY do you understand my strong point agenst the "instant win" button?

Can do something is different from will do something.

The instawin was my idea.  It doesn't reward the bot with the match, just the round.

So if it's 0 to 1 and you hit instawin, it will be 1 to 1 or 0 to 2 depending on who you give the round to.  Doesn't effect how many rounds have to be won to win the match.

Also, if you're going to mess with the round you should be smart enough to realize you're screwing with the results.  The instawin is for if you're more or less sure that the round should go to one or another bot and you don't want to wait around for it to happen.

It's just another tool.  I honestly can't imagine any objections.  If you don't like it don't use it.

ok, fear game...

***
Num check out my F1 calc. Maybe PY can use the Timer idea in the F1 display?

Think about this:
That way you wont have to open microsoft excel because it does the math for you right in Db.

And to save on Ram , you have to press a botton to get the estimated time of win for each robot. It does not update automaticaly to save ram.

What's a fear game?

And the kind of calculations you're talking about aren't either RAM or CPU intensive.

what I mean by "ok fear game" is that now I agree with your instawin botton idea.

If my calculations are not RAM or CPU intensive.(Is that what you are saying?) Then even better: Then we can add (Time to the end of match) timers for bouth robots that update automaticaly.

I think Bots means "Fair game" as in:

# free from favoritism or self-interest or bias or deception; or conforming with established standards or rules; "a fair referee"; "fair deal"; "on a fair footing"; "a fair fight"; "by fair means or foul"

# impartial: showing lack of favoritism; "the cold neutrality of an impartial judge"

'fear game' sounds cooler though :) "Hey dude, I was in this like huge FEAR game!!) :D :D
