In reply to this post: http://www.darwinbots.com/Forum/index.php?...0&#entry1367149

I tried the bot and it does not sit the way you described - it runs in circles, sometimes hooks up with other bots and it eventually dies if I don't give it food.  Do you have a simulation saved?

Wouldn't it be better in the "simulation emporium" or something though?

How odd... I don't have a simulation saved, but I'll run another one with it in when I get home from college.

I've never been able to get it to move, and the last sim I ran with it (on it own, not even any veggies) it just sat there and duplicated itself, occassionally tieing to another one. I started off with one, and after 9 seconds there was 710.

I'll try and duplicate that again tonight, if I manage it I'll post the sim.

I don't think that the DNA is capable of reproducing on it's own

Might be due to altzimers?

Here's the genome stripped down with junk DNA removed:

cond

start
  300  .aimsx store
  600  .aimdx store
stop

cond

start
  80  .tie store
stop

cond

  80  .tie store
  5  .up store
stop

cond

start
  80  .aimdx store
stop

cond

cond

Okay finally got round to running another sim and it did exactly the same as before.

Giving you the settings file and the saved sim.
