Why should it offend anybody?

It's a peice of artwork painted by Michaelangelo on the ceiling of the sistene chapel in the vatican.

OK maybe it has some religious conotations but I don't see how art can be offensive.

Evo's don't tend to get offended by religious stuff half as much as creationists get offended by science

Agree with PY, nice peice of art.

From a logical slant it's not logical not to believe in god if there's no additional cost in doing so and an extremly high possible gain  

Now if someone actually came in with something truly graphic I'd probably be a bit upset; but I figure they'd be handled rather rapidly.

Belief isn't about cost though. From this logic, it makes just as much sense to believe in absolutely any of the gods proposed by different cultures throughout history. How the heck do we know which one (if any) is right.

As a good friend of mine says in her signature block on another forum, "Everyone is an atheist about 99.9% of the gods that have ever been proposed. I just happen to be an atheist about one more than you. Give me the reason thet you reject all those others and that will be the reason that I reject yours."

OO, that sounds like fun.

I hereby believe in all gods ever proposed in the entirety of history.  According to my belief, there's actually only 70 gods, and all known gods are simply interpretations of those base 70.

I actually liked Nums mouse pic better too. It was a qutie.

Anyway it's just picture, though I think it's more fun if they have some connection with the person. My avatar is of one of my fishes.

What kind of fish is that?
It looks like some kind of Mbuna cichlid from lake Malawi.
The picture is too small to really tell which species.
