Hi all!

What I do with the .dbo files saved by the program? How can I read the DNA?

Thanks!

I believe .dbo are organism binary files.  They can contain either a single bot or a multibot.  You'll need to load this bot into the simulation to see what it's DNA is.  I believe there's an insert organism command in the edit file menu.

There's a snapshot command in Darwinbots that creates a "snapshot" of all the current bots as a comma deliminated file.  The snapshot to excel utility converts that comma deliminated file into something that excel can easily manage by removing bots with identical DNA and giving the percentages of each genome.

Eventually I'd like to move all that into the program itself, but it's really on the back burner.
