Is the tie physics back in to 2.4?

Plus, how difficult would it be to program:
  • The ability to pump genes through ties (like viruses)
  • A .tieaim sysvar that works like .aimshoot to aim where ties are fired

The viruses one might be a little involved, the virus code has always been a sort of dirty hack.

A tieaim wouldn't be hard I don't think.  Tie physics in 2.4 should work relatively well, though I'm not sure if tie drag is up or not.  (Tie drag is incredibly involved.  Took me a whole notebook to work it out and even then it was 6 months to solve).
